Billings Clinic named in Becker's Hospital Review 100 Hospitals with Great Women's Health Programs

Billings, MT— Billings Clinic is among the top hospitals on the 2014 edition of the Becker's Hospital Review annual list, "100 hospitals with great women's health programs." The hospitals featured all offer outstanding health services geared toward women, such as gynecology, obstetrics, women-focused heart care and women-focused cancer care, among other women's health needs. Becker's Hospital Review has published a version of this list annually since 2012.

The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on clinical accolades and recognition for women's health excellence from various healthcare groups and agencies. Those agencies include U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, CareChex and UNICEF's Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative.

According to Becker's, one of the more unique women's health services offered by Billings Clinic is the vein clinic, which treats vein disorders like varicose veins or spider veins with minimally invasive surgery and other procedures. Billings Clinic also houses the Reger Family Center for Breast Health for diagnostics and a Breast Boutique with specialty products like surgical bras and breast prostheses for post-mastectomy and cancer patients. CareChex ranked Billings Clinic in the top 15 in the nation for women's health for 2015, and U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital as high-performing in gynecology for 2014-15.
