<h3><img class="imgrht" src="images/Research/se09.jpg" border="0" alt="Science Expo" width="250" height="167" align="right" />Billings Clinic Research Center's 22nd Science Expo will be held March 26 &amp; 27, 2010 on the campus of Montana State University - Billings.</h3>
<p><strong>The Science Expo is comprised of:</strong></p>
<ul class="bodylist">
<li>the regional science fair sanctioned by the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)</li>
<li>Guest Scientist(s) Lecture(s)</li>
<li>Interactive Science Exhibits</li>
</ul>
<p>All students from grades 1-12 in our <a href="http://www.billingsclinic.com/body.cfm?id=164">24-county region</a> are invited to enter the science fair competition.</p>
<p>In 2009, 353 students vied for almost $16,000 in gifts, cash prizes, awards and scholarships during the two-day event. Our Guest Scientists described the challenge of conducting science on the Greenland icecap and shared their findings about "Radical Chemistry on Sunlit Snow".&nbsp; On Saturday, local organizations and industries provided interactive exhibits to thrill the students, their families and the general public.</p>
<p>The entire event could not happen without the enthusiasm of all of our volunteers and is free due to the generosity of our sponsors.&nbsp; Please, join us in thanking them.&nbsp;</p>
