The Joint Commission Accreditation (Re-accredited for 2006-2009) Billings Clinic is nationally accredited for quality and safety by the Joint Commission.
Primary Stroke Center Certification (Re-certified in 2007) Billings Clinic received the Joint Commission's Certificate of Distinction for Primary Stroke Centers, for exceptional efforts to foster better outcomes for stroke care.
ANCC Magnet Recognition (2006) Billings Clinic is recognized internationally for excellence, with Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Out of 5,800 health care organizations in the United States, only 298 are recognized with Magnet status for nursing excellence. Billings Clinic is the only Magnet designated health care organization in Montana and Wyoming.
National Cancer Institute Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP) (2007-2010) The national Cancer Institute (NCI) chose Billings Clinic as a pilot site for the Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP) to help bring state 0of0the0art cancer care to patients across the United States. Billings Clinic is the only NCCCP site in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho or North Dakota.
Chest Pain Center Accreditation (2008-2011) Billings Clinic is accredited as a Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Billings Clinic has demonstrated expertise in quickly assessing, diagnosing and treating patients experiencing chest discomfort or pain, and is our region's first and only accredited Chest Pain Center.
Ranked #1 in Montana for Overall Orthopedic Services (2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004) Billings Clinic has been ranked by HealthGrades #1 in Montana for six years in a row for overall clinical excellence in orthopedics.
Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals for Cardiovascular Care (2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004) Billings Clinic was designated as a Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospital for Cardiovascular Services for the fifth year in a row. The annual Thomson Reuters award is based on hospitals' performance treating congestive heart failure and heart attacks.
