Aspen Meadows offers seniors three distinct living options depending upon their physical and health care needs.
Assisted Living ApartmentsEnjoy the independence of living in an apartment with personal care services and the security of a trained medical staff 24 hours a day. Three sizes of apartments are available:
- Efficiency - one room with a private restroom with shower
- One Bedroom - bedroom, living room, kitchenette, private restroom with shower
- Two Bedroom - bedroom, living room, kitchenette, two private restrooms with shower
All arrangements include three meals a day served in the dining room and weekly housekeeping and linen service. Each unfurnished apartment features emergency pull cords, individual controls for heat and air conditioning and safety bars in each restroom.
Long Term CareOur long term care program is designed to attend to the needs of our residents 24 hours a day through the assistance of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and licenses nurses. Laundry, housekeeping services and three meals daily are provided.
Transitional Living Center (TLC) - Long- and short-term care is provided for people who have been discharged from the hospital. The goal of TLC care is to return people to the lifestyle they had prior to their hospital stay. Services include rehabilitation, stimulation and appropriate medical care. TLC referrals are made through physicians.
Eden Alternative Aspen Meadows is creating a "living environment" filled with plants, animals, and children. This process battles the three plagues commonly found in extended care facilities: loneliness, helplessness, and boredom. In this environment, genuine caring relationships are built with birds, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, children and staff. Variety, spontaneity, and compassion are increased. Internet & EmailIn an attempt to increase the link to our world (including out-of-town relatives) all residents have free access to the Internet and E-mail through three computers located in the common areas.
Choosing a FacilityWe encourage you to visit us to see if Aspen Meadows is the "right fit" for you or your family member. The Internet also offers some helpful tools such as http://www.medicare.gov/. In the section Nursing Home Compare, you are able to review staffing levels, past surveys, and print off checklists. Email us for information or to set up a tour.

Included in monthly rental fee:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) available to assist with personal care needs 24 hours per day. Every two hour night checks if desired.
- Emergency pull cords in living area, bathroom and bedroom.
- Individual heating and cooling controls in each apartment.
- Three meals a day served in our spacious dining room. One snack a day is offered.
- Weekly housekeeping services.
- Daily bed-making service if desired.
- Laundry facilities; staff will do resident laundry once a week or resident may do own laundry if desired.
- Expanded basic cable for television.
- Larger dorm-sized refrigerator.

- Activity programs designed for Assisted Living Residents.

- Cozy family and resident meeting areas in the main entry or in the library.
