Q. What is MyMedicalRecord?
A: MyMedicalRecord is a personal health resource which will enable you to securely use the Internet to help manage and receive information about your health, 24 hours/day. It consists of portions of your Billings Clinic electronic medical record.
In MyMedicalRecord you canview:
  • Your lab results
  • Your allergy list
  • Your immunization records
  • Your medication list
  • Your surgeries and procedures

With MyMedicalRecord you can also:
  • View the medical records of a parent or an adult family member who may need your involvement in their health care
Q. What is the cost of MyMedicalRecord?
A: There is no charge to using MyMedicalRecord.
Q. Who can sign up for MyMedicalRecord?
A: All Billings Clinic patients, age 18 and older. You may also access the medical records of a parent or adult family member who may need your involvement in their health care.
Q. How do I register?
A: To enroll, stop by any of the following locations: Billings Clinic Downtown at the Internal Medicine Department registration area or the Hospital - Health Information Management (HIM) department next to the south end of the cafeteria..

You must be age 18 or older, bring a valid photo ID, and must be present to register. Phone or online registration is not available.

Q. How do I contact MyMedicalRecord technical support?
A: Call us at 406-247-6400 or 1-800-332-7156, ext. 6400.
Q. What is IQ Health?
A: IQ Health is the name of the software tool that Billings Clinic uses to give you access to your electronic medical record. When you sign up for MyMedicalRecord and view your records, the IQ Health software brings that information to your computer. You will see the name "IQ Health" on some screens within MyMedicalRecord.
Q. What is MyMedicalRecords Clinical Health Record?
A: These are the records recorded and used by your Billings Clinic health care provider. Your clinical health record can be viewed by your health care provider and you. In MyMedicalRecord, you can view your Clinical Health Record by clicking on the Clinical link.

When can I see my test results in MyMedicalRecord?
A: Your test results will be available automatically, generally within 2-3 days.
Q. Why are certain test results not shared electronically via MyMedicalRecord?
A: According to Montana Health and Safety Code, medical providers are prohibited from releasing the following laboratory results via MyMedicalRecord, even though a patient may consent to their release: HIV antibody test; presence of antigens indicating a hepatitis infection; abusing the use of drugs; test results related to routinely processed tissues, including skin biopsies, Pap smear tests, products of conception and bone marrow aspirations for morphological evaluation, if they reveal a malignancy.
Other tests currently unavailable in MyMedicalRecord are X-ray images, EKGs and MRIs.
A: Your test results will be available automatically, generally within 2-3 days.
Q. Can I view a family member's medical record in MyBillingsClinic (e.g. my child, spouse, parent)?
A: Currently, Billings Clinic patients can requestpermission of another adult to access their medical information via the Internet.  .
Q. I forgot my password. What do I do?
A: Call us at 406-247-6400 or 1-800-332-7156, ext. 6400. Privacy and technical issues prevent us from emailing your password to you.
Q. Where can I update my personal information (e.g., home address, e-mail or change my password)?
A: Log into MyMedicalRecord. On the menu bar at the top of the page, click on “Account” and “Member Maintenance.” Then click on “Edit Account.”
Q. How is MyBillingsClinic secure?
A: MyMedicalRecord uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology with no caching to automatically encrypt your session with MyMedicalRecord. All medical information is stored safely behind a firewall.
Q. What is your Privacy Policy?
A: At Billings Clinic, we value our patients and are very careful in the way we safegaurd personal health information. Our privacy notice describes our policies concerning health information and our commitment to protect the privacy of our patients.
Q. How does my computer need to be set up to use MyMedicalRecord?
A: You need access to a computer connected to the Internet. Use Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer.
Q. When I try to login, MyMedicalRecord keeps telling me "login unsuccessful."
A: Make sure your CapsLock key is not on. The password field is case sensitive. Make sure you do not enter extra spaces in either the MyMedicalRecord or password boxes and try again. If you have forgotten your User ID or password, call 406-247-6400 or 1-800-332-7156, ext. 6400.
Q. When I was reviewing my records in MyMedicalRecord, I was logged out. What happened?
A: MyMedicalRecord wants to protect your privacy. While logged into MyBillingsClinic, if your keyboard remains idle for 20 minutes or more, you will be automatically logged out. Any information you have typed will be lost. We recommend that you do not leave your MyMedicalRecord account open if called away. Always log out.
