The Billings Clinic Science Expo is full of fun for students from elementary to high school.

Science Expo, our region’s largest science fair competition for children grades 1 through 12. The competition is structured similar to a poster session at a medical or scientific conference.
Children learn to use the same skills as “real scientists” to advance our understanding of the natural world. They have the opportunity to present their poster to judges, receive feedback and, for many of them, receive a prize for excellence. The top placing project in the high school division wins an all-expense paid trip to the International Science and Engineering Fair.
These experiences are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for some of Montana’s brightest students to test themselves against other young scholars from across the nation and world.
The Science Expo would not be possible without the wonderful support of our event sponsors and donors. With their support, children are able to participate in the Science Expo at no cost and win prizes totaling over $15,000. This year’s Science Expo is scheduled to take place March 18-19, 2016, on the campus of Montana State University in Billings.
