Infectious Disease Specialist

Billings Clinic, a Billings, MT based multi-specialty clinic is seeking an infectious disease specialist. Responsibilities include: Takes referral cases from other physicians, patients who need more specialized care than their primary doctor can provide. Reviews the patient’s medical records, including X-rays, blood work and other lab tests to understand the complex medical issue. May also conduct a physical exam and order additional laboratory tests. Does not perform surgery. Recommends a course of care upon analysis of patients medical needs to return patient to health, supervise process and make adjustments to care as medically appropriate. May specialize in caring for high-risk patients such as HIV/AIDS patients, who are at increased risk of secondary infections.

Requirements: Must be licensed in the state of Montana or presently eligible for licensure. Board certified in infectious disease, or eligible for certification within one year. Graduate of approved medical school, three year residency in internal medicine, two year fellowship in infectious disease.

Internal Medicine

Billings Clinic, a Billings, MT based multi-specialty clinic has openings for 2 internal medicine physicians. Responsibilities include: Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the human internal organ systems; examine patients for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders and determine nature and extent of injury or disorder, referring to diagnostic images and tests, and using medical instruments and equipment; prescribe medication and recommend dietary and activity program, as indicated by diagnosis; refer patients to medical specialist when indicated.

Specific skills or other requirements: Medical License required. Licensed in the state of Montana or presently eligible; Board certified in internal medicine or able to obtain within 1 year.

Pediatrician

Billings Clinic, a Billings, MT based multi-specialty clinic, is seeking a Pediatrician.  Responsibilities include: Examine patients or order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determine diagnosis. Examine children regularly to assess their growth and development. Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury in infants and children. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results. Advise patients, parents or guardians, and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. Treat children who have minor illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and growth and development concerns. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians. Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary. Plan and execute medical care programs to aid in the mental and physical growth and development of children and adolescents. Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary. 

Requirements: Graduate of an approved medical school, a residency in internal medicine, and a residency in pediatrics.  Must be licensed as a physician in the state of Montana, or presently eligible for licensure. Board certified in pediatrics, or board eligible within one year of starting employment.

Pulmonologist

Billings Clinic, a Billings, MT based multi-specialty clinic has openings for 2 pulmonologists. Responsibilities include: The Pulmonologist physicians will be supervising an Internal Medicine Resident. Prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases and conditions of the respiratory system, the lungs and bronchial tubes. Occasionally evaluate the nose, throat and pharynx. Treat diseases such as asthma, emphysema, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and complex chest infections. As needed, collect chest wall lining samples for examination and tests. Also collect samples of the lining of the lungs.

Requirements: Graduate of approved medical school, presently licensed in Montana, or eligible for licensure. Board certified in Pulmonology or eligible within one year. Three year residency in internal medicine, two year fellowship in critical care, two year fellowship in Pulmonology or a 3 year Fellowship as an Intensivist.

Rheumatologist

Billings Clinic, a Billings, MT based multi-specialty clinic is seeking a rheumatologist. Responsibilities include: Must demonstrate ability to diagnose and treat rheumatoid-related illnesses such as arthritis, certain autoimmune diseases, musculoskeletal pain disorders and osteoporosis; conduct examinations; attend patients; re-examine rheumatoid cases to verify progress; oversee maintenance of case histories, health examination reports, and other medical records; formulate and administer rheumatoid health and/or wellness programs; work with other physicians to advise another about a specific diagnosis and treatment plan; work in cooperation with skilled professionals including nurses, physical and occupational therapists, psychologists and social workers in helping people with musculoskeletal diseases.

Requirements: Graduate of approved medical school, presently licensed in Montana eligible for licensure. Board certified in rheumatology or eligible within one year. A three-year residency in internal medicine and a three-year fellowship as a rheumatologist required.
