Community Health Needs Assessments and Community Health Improvement Plans

Billings Clinic is committed to working together with local partners to assess and address the health needs within our local communities. At the same time, we work to improve population health through integrated medical care, education and research. We work with dozens of community partners on collective efforts to improve the quality of life, health and well-being of those in our region.

We are pleased to share the community health needs assessments (CHNAs) conducted in Yellowstone County, our primary service area, in collaboration with St. Vincent Healthcare and RiverStone Health, our local City/County Health Department. We also work together to lead, sponsor and implement community health strategies as part of the Healthy By Design Coalition. Learn more about what we do and how you can become involved at www.hbdyc.org.

Also available below are community health improvement plans (CHIPs) – written implementation strategies describing how we will address the community health needs identified in the CHNA. Billings Clinic, our CHNA partners and community stakeholders work together on interventions to improve our health policies, systems and environment for better health outcomes.
