The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everybody age 6 months and older receive annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccination. This year’s flu vaccines are trivalent, meaning they are designed to protect against the three viruses that research indicates will be the most common for the upcoming season.
With respiratory illness season nearing, minimizing the spread of all infections remains critically important. Every year, flu vaccination prevents illnesses and, in the event of infection, reduces the likelihood of medical visits, hospitalization and even death.
Billings Clinic Bozeman will bill insurance for you. Many insurance plans pay full cost of flu vaccine. Please check with your insurance company first to verify coverage. Billings Clinic will also participate in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, which provides free vaccines to eligible children. Flu vaccines provided at Billings Clinic Bozeman are preservative-free. Flu mist is not available.
