Columbus, MT — Stillwater Billings Clinic announces the opening of their new medical facility which will begin seeing patients Monday, September 10, 2012. The public is invited to attend an open house on Sunday, September 9, 2012. The open house will begin at 12:30 p.m., with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00 p.m.
The 37,000 square feet, $16 million facility sits on 21 acres next to Interstate 90 in Columbus, MT. The expanded space includes a new outpatient clinic adjacent to the new hospital that will house 10 inpatient beds. The facility also includes an expanded emergency department, enhanced cardiac and therapy rehabilitation, radiology and laboratory services as well as a helipad for emergency transport services.
Stillwater Billings Clinic continues to be locally owned and operated by Stillwater Hospital Association, Inc., governed by a local board of directors. The construction of Stillwater Billings Clinic provides improved efficiencies, integrated delivery of care, an improved opportunity in supply management and a single medical record for patients.
“This new facility brings together the care teams of Stillwater Community Hospital and Billings Clinic Columbus under one roof,” said CEO Tim Russell. “As a result, patients will benefit from a fully integrated care model that is patient centric. All of the physicians are able to effectively contribute to the coordinated plan of care and share the same medical record for the patient. This model also allows patients to receive a single bill for all services provided locally.”
The public is invited to attend the open house from 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2012 to meet the staff of Stillwater Billings Clinic, tour the new facility and enjoy light refreshments.
