Billings Clinic Earns Highest Award for Quality Care
Billings, MT— Billings Clinic hospital is recognized for its staff’s commitment to providing quality health care. Billings Clinic is one of just five hospitals to receive the Quality Achievement Award. This is the top award from Mountain-Pacific Quality Health, the Medicare Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for Montana.
“The staff at Billings Clinic should be very proud,” said Christy Fuller, Mountain-Pacific’s director for Montana. “From leadership to all the hospital staff who provide daily care, Billings Clinic does an excellent job serving Montanans. Mountain-Pacific looks forward to continuing to work with Billings Clinic, supporting their staff in maintaining a high standard of patient care.”
Billings Clinic received a 2014 Quality Achievement Award, because it met a number of criteria outlined by Mountain-Pacific Quality Health. The facility has strong executive involvement in the promotion of a “quality culture,” which focuses on patient-centered care and improving national health care measures related to cardiac health, pneumonia, the reduction of unnecessary hospital readmissions and the prevention of dangerous and costly healthcare-associated infections. Billings Clinic also involves patients and their families in its efforts to improve the care its staff provides.
