Registration open for 29th Annual Senior Sports & Arts Festival

Billings, MT — Registration for the 29th annual Senior Sports & Arts Festival, held May 12 - 18, 2014, is now available. The theme this year is “Book it to a Good Time” – the main event being a tour of the new Billings Public Library.

Over 21 events are open to anyone age 55 and older. Registration forms and an $8.00 registration fee are required by the registration deadline Monday, May 5. The $8 fee allows participation in all social or recreational events, although bowling, golf, tennis and wine tasting have additional fees.

The newest event this year – Billings Public Library Tour – will be an hour-long guided adventure through the new library in Billings. The tour is hosted by volunteers with the Friends of the Library and participants will have the opportunity to become a future volunteer.

Other events include crafts & fine arts, bowling, Bunco, Bingo, golf, tennis, Yahtzee, shanghai rummy, Wii bowling, Rummmikub, fun walk, cribbage, bridge, scrabble, Nia, and Pinochle.

Each Festival participant receives a gift from Billings Clinic Senior Life and has an opportunity to win certificates for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in some of the events.
