New technology and a wide range of services have become part of the exciting new expansion of the Billings Clinic Broadwater Diagnostic Imaging Services Department. In addition to offering X-ray services, the Diagnostic Imaging Department also offers Ultrasound and CT scans. Our 64-slice CT is a quick and effective tool for diagnosing both routine and acute pathologies.

Ultrasound

Diagnostic ultrasound, also called sonography or diagnostic medical sonography, is an imaging method that uses sound waves to produce images of structures within your body. The images can provide valuable information for diagnosing and directing treatment for a variety of diseases and conditions.

Ultrasound services are available on a scheduled outpatient basis.

Mobile Mammography Screening

Having an on-site mammogram in the mobile unit is just as safe and confidential as going to a fixed-site center. With digital mammography, a woman knows before she leaves that her image is technically accurate. After entering the mobile unit through a reception area, the woman proceeds to a private dressing room adjacent to the mammography suite, where a brief health history is taken before her exam. Following her mammogram, she has the opportunity to ask questions and learn how her results will be communicated to her and her physician. Should the results of the mammogram be abnormal, the woman will receive a phone call from their provider to discuss follow-up care.
