MD and ALS Care Center

Billings Clinic's Muscle Disease (MD) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Care Center is one of only three MD/ALS Care Centers in the state of Montana and the only one in Yellowstone County. The MD/ALS Care Center provides integrated care for patients as they utilize our clinical care services as well as the support services provided through MD/ALS care center.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is the world’s leading nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for neuromuscular diseases. MDA funds research and assists patients in receiving comprehensive health care services and support nationwide.

The MD Clinic is held the 2nd Monday of each month; the ALS clinic is held the 1st Thursday of each month in our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department. Dr. Steven Arbogast, neurologist, and Dr. Elizabeth (Lynn) Wood, pediatric neurologist, are co-medical directors of the Billings Clinic MD/ALS Care Center.
