Cancer Care in the Region

Billings Clinic has a strong and steady commitment to collaborating with local health care facilities to provide quality oncology specialty services throughout our vast geographic region. We have one of the largest and most extensive outreach clinic programs in the nation.

Created to bring cancer care closer to your home, Billings Clinic oncologists travel up to 350 miles to see and treat cancer patients at any one of our outreach clinic sites in Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota. These oncology outreach services allow patients access to expert specialty care within their local communities.

Outreach clinics are conducted at community sites to bring the clinical expertise to the patient and supervise the chemotherapy administration. The frequency in which outreach clinics are provided varies based on the extent of services provided and volume of patients.

  • Medical oncology services are provided through full-time coverage, 31 days each month in eight communities throughout Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota including Glasgow, Glendive, Miles City, Livingston, Thermopolis, and Williston.
  • Gynecologic oncology surgical and clinical services are provided in Montana.
  • Radiation oncology services are provided through full-time coverage at Community Medical Center in Missoula and two days each week at the Welch Cancer Center in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Billings Clinic places a high value on building relationships with regional referring providers, partnering in the collaborative care of patients, and delivering specialty cancer care closer to home whenever possible.
