Financial Counseling

Treatment for cancer may not only be difficult to cope with physically, but can be very expensive as well. Deciphering insurance benefits, medical forms, and costs of treatment can be very challenging, if not overwhelming, for cancer patients and their families.

Billings Clinic Cancer Center recognizes this and provides the support of dedicated Financial Counselors to help patients and their families with these sensitive issues during this difficult time.

Our financial counselors are patient advocates whose role is to contact insurance companies to determine benefits and review insurance coverage details. Counselors can provide a cost estimate of proposed treatment and offer assistance in the completion of any applicable financial aid paperwork.

In addition, they are available to patients for interpretation of medical bills, resolution of financial questions, and for any other financial concerns.

Our financial counselors are available free of charge for consultations Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Appointments can either be done in person or by telephone.
