Cystic Fibrosis

Billings Clinic Cystic Fibrosis Center offers comprehensive medical care to youth and adults with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). We are an accredited affiliate of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Center and we serve patients throughout Montana, Northern Wyoming, and North and South Dakota.

Our CF Center offers monthly clinics which are located in Billings Clinic's Pediatric Specialty department (kids) and the Pulmonary department (adults). In addition, Billings Clinic's Cystic Fibrosis Center team has clinics in the following communities:

Bozeman (adult and pediatric patients)
Missoula (pediatric patients)

Both children and adults receive care which addresses all aspects of their health care needs. Patients and their families have peace of mind knowing that the place where they receive CF care will be able to handle all of their medical needs that may arise from Cystic Fibrosis.

Billings Clinic Cystic Fibrosis Center is a Therapeutic Development Center (TDC) site. We offer patients both from our center and outside centers the opportunity to participate in CF research.

Cystic Fibrosis Center Care Team

Our Cystic Fibrosis Care Team consists of physicians who are experts in treating Cystic Fibrosis, our Cystic Fibrosis Center coordinator, and nurses who will assess your needs and explain your care plan. The nurses are also a great resource for learning about Cystic Fibrosis and your medical treatment.

In addition, our team includes social workers who provide support to you and your family and help obtain resources, evaluate your or your family's stress levels and help identify support services for families needs. The dietitian evaluates your nutritional needs as well as provides recommendations to ensure good growth and development. The respiratory therapist will check your lung function regularly and review airway clearance.
