Labor & Delivery at the Family Birth Center

Picture yourself welcoming your baby in a comfortable, nurturing setting. You receive support from highly trained, compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff. That’s your birth experience at Billings Clinic Family Birth Center.

The Family Birth Center in Billings

From your arrival at the Family Birth Center in Billings until you go home, our team will be by your side. Experienced doctors know how to keep you and your baby safe and healthy. Caring nurses will support and encourage you.

You'll feel right at home in our birth center. Enjoy a warm, welcoming space to meet your newborn. Feel confident you and your baby will get the best possible care.

Private & Cesarean Birth Suites

You deserve a personal birth experience during one of life’s most important moments. Your private suite feels like a cozy hotel room, not a hospital. It provides a retreat as you labor, give birth, and bond with your newborn. If you need a Cesarean section or other birth-related surgery, there are surgical suites within the Family Birth Center.

After your baby arrives, you'll have everything in your suite—including a bassinet and bath. You'll also appreciate the private bathroom with:

  • A spacious Jacuzzi tub
  • Room for your partner to stay with you
  • Amenities like TV and music to help you feel at home

Comfort & Movement During Labor

Movement can help labor progress. If you want to walk, squat, or sway during labor, you can. Our wireless, belt-free monitor lets you move however feels right. Your nurse can closely watch your contractions and your baby’s vital signs as you move.

During labor, you’ll have access to nitrous oxide for pain management. You can control how much you need to achieve your desired birth experience.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

If your baby needs extra attention after birth, depend on our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Board-certified specialists monitor newborns around the clock.

Emergency Transport

If you or your baby need emergency transport, the Billings Clinic air ambulance service, MedFlight, is ready to help.

Safety & Security
