Speech Therapy

Speech therapy (or Speech-Language Pathology) is the evaluation and treatment of communication, swallowing, or speech disorders. Speech therapy is performed by speech-language pathologists (SLPs), which are more commonly referred to as speech therapists.

Billings Clinic speech therapists (speech-language pathologists) work closely with your doctor and other health care specialists to provide therapy for speech disorders that develop in childhood or speech impairments in adults caused by an injury or illness, such as stroke or brain injury.

Our speech therapists can:

  • Provide swallowing evaluations and treatment (MBSIMP, FEES, MDTP)
  • Address speech and language disorders, fluency (stuttering), and voice disorders (LSVT, AAC)
  • Assess cognition including memory, attention, and executive functioning
