Our Dermatology Services

  • Skin Care - The skin is our largest and most visible organ. Billings Clinic dermatologists diagnose and treat afflictions of the skin, hair and nails, including acne, rashes, skin cancers and benign skin growths.
  • Hair - Alopecia is the medical term for hair loss and can refer to several different diagnoses. Factors leading to alopecia range widely from genetics, medications, and infections to environmental triggers such as stress and diet. Our dermatologists can evaluate your hair further with tissue and lab testing and discuss multiple treatment options.
  • Nails - Our dermatologists have experience in diagnosing and treating nail disorders, including those due to malignancy and inflammatory conditions.
  • Laser Treatment - Our dermatologists use lasers to treat a variety of skin conditions including sunspots, facial veins, redness, angiomas (red spots), fine lines and wrinkles, birthmarks, and scars.
  • Mohs Micrographic Surgery and subsequent reconstructive surgery - Mohs surgery removes skin cancer with highly precise microscopic control, resulting in the highest cure rates for the most common skin cancers. Dr. Mark Jones is the only specialist in the region who is fellowship-trained and qualified by the College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
  • Skin cancer surgery - All of our dermatologists are skilled at procedures to remove benign lesions and non-Mohs indicated skin cancers.
  • Treatment of vascular facial lesions - Lasers can be an effective treatment for vascular birthmarks or redness from sun exposure and aging.
  • Dermatopathology - We have board certified dermatopathologists who diagnose skin conditions by examining tissue samples under the microscope.
  • Patch testing - Patch testing is the only way to diagnose allergic contact dermatitis. We use an expanded panel of allergens which improves our diagnostic accuracy and leads to better treatment plans.
