Billings Clinic maintains an exclusive contract with Vaya, who in turn works with 100 different travel agencies for nurses and healthcare professionals. Billings Clinic does not offer any in-house contracts or in-house agencies. Our travel nurses work across our healthcare system, in both hospital and clinic placements.
We offer nursing experiences in a facility that is both a Trauma Level 1, and a 4-time Magnet Designee hospital.
Montana is a part of the Nursing Compact. This allows nurses from any of the Nursing Compact states to use their nursing license in Montana. Billings Clinic does not require additional certifications for our travel nurses, with the exception of Chemotherapy Certification, if working in an Oncology Unit.
Billings Clinic takes pride in our conversion of travel nurses to permanent positions. We offer competitive rates, a competitive sign-on bonus and moving expenses, along with welcoming units and an organizational commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Travel nurses are able to fully participate in the unit activities alongside permanent nurses. Additionally, contract nurses have a designated resource at Billings Clinic, who is committed to your support as a travel nurse.
Housing Options
Billings Clinic does not coordinate housing for travel nurses. Many travel nurses have been able to successfully find housing that meets their needs from Furnished Finders, Air BnB, and VRBO. Additionally, there are multiple options available for travel nurses who utilize RVs in their traveling.
