Caring for kids from cradle to college
We believe that the best child health care involves doctors and medical staff taking time to learn about each child and family while also providing support and guidance to parents.
Acorn Pediatrics was started out of a desire to provide high quality medical care for children and teens in the Gallatin Valley and surrounding region.
Same Day and Immediate Care
We are available on a same day basis for illness visits. If your child is having difficulty breathing, call 911.

Dosage Tables & Well-Child Information/Forms
When should I call the doctor if my child has a vaccine reaction?
Children react differently to vaccinations. Many experience low-grade fever under 101 degrees and are fussy. Do not worry if they are easily consoled. Some will have mid-grade fevers of 101-104 degrees. If they are still eating well, fussy but consolable, and showing no other signs of illness, treat with Tylenol/Ibuprofen and monitor at home. If your child is very irritable and cannot be consoled, or they have a fever over 104 degrees, call Acorn Pediatrics. Our pediatrician is on-call 24/7.
Reach Out and Read
Acorn Pediatrics is proud to be part of the Reach Out and Read Program, a national organization to promote early literacy. To foster a love of books and reading, Acorn Pediatrics gives a new book to each child at well child check-ups, from 6 month to 5 years. Parents will also get advice on the importance of reading out loud to children from a very young age. Providers at Acorn, and other pediatricians across the country who participate in Reach Out and Read, believe that early exposure to books and reading helps promote a child’s development and leads to later school success. Growing up healthy means growing up with books!
