This event will focus on education for providers in the region who commonly work with wound care patients such as physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, medical assistants, and physical therapy providers.
The 2022 Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Conference will focus on diagnosis, treatment, and management of wound healing and hyperbaric medicine both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Participants will also receive updated information on resources for rural providers and current trends in the region. The symposium will utilize didactic sessions that will include clinical guidelines and case studies to illustrate decision making and management of wound healing.
Accreditation:
The AAFP has reviewed 2022 Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Conference and deemed it acceptable for up to 6.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 10/21/2022 to 10/21/2022. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for Category I credit from AOACCME, Prescribed credit from
AAFP, and AMA PRA Category 1 Credit ™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 6.0 hours of Category I credit for completing both programs.
The Montana Board of Nursing allows continuing education credits that have been approved by “a professional organization that establishes criteria for continuing education in nursing, advanced nursing, medicine and other health care specialties.” Nurses may receive an AAFP certificate for 6 hours for completing this program.
