Many treatments are available to you at Billings Clinic Facial Plastics and Medical Spa. We want to help you achieve your goals and feel your best.
Non-surgical treatments are an option and include brown spot removal, dissipating fine lines and wrinkles, lifting and tightening skin, removing unwanted hair, and many more.
If volume loss in the cheeks, lips, temples and under the eyes is a concern, restoring volume and providing a subtle lift in these areas can be achieved with a variety of different FDA-approved injectable facial fillers. Fine lines, and wrinkles can be treated through the use of Botox and Dysport, laser treatments, and microneedling.
If spa services are your greatest interest, chemical peels, facial waxing and professional lash extensions are available.

Botox® and Dysport®
Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators that contain Botulinum Toxin A, which is injected into the facial muscles of adult patients to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe fine lines, wrinkles, and frown lines in the face. It is used most often in the forehead, between the brows (glabellar lines), or in the wrinkles found at the side of your eyes (lateral canthal lines or crows feet).
We recommend a regimen of injections approximately every three to six months. All injections are personally injected by Dr. Wolpoe who is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon. His specialty is facial anatomy, which ensures the best and safest possible outcome.

A Chemical Peel is a treatment that is performed to improve the appearance of the face in an effort to rejuvenate the skin and give it a more healthy and youthful glow. Chemical peels may be performed on the face to:
- Even skin’s texture and tone
- Reduce pigmented spots
- Restore rough or dry skin
- Diminish fine lines and wrinkles
The NEO∙PEEL, by NeoCutis, is the chemical peel used in our office. It is offered in three different strength levels (40, 50, and 60%) and combines glycolic acid with skin brightening agents to minimize the appearance of aging and promote skin smoothness and radiance.
Dr. Wolpoe and his team of registered nurses have been extensively trained in the application of chemical peels. We recommend that patients initially purchase a beginner package of three chemical peels and schedule routine maintenance visits to keep skin looking and feeling revitalized.
There is no downtime post-treatment and patients typically do not experience any flaking or redness. Patients often refer to this as the lunchtime treatment, because it is completed easily within one hour and you are able to wear makeup afterwards.

Facial (Dermal) Fillers
Facial fillers are used to restore volume to the face. As we age, we can experience volume loss in the cheeks, lips, temples and under the eyes. Restoring volume to these areas can be achieved with a variety of different FDA approved injectable materials. Another option for restoring volume to the face is fat transfer.
Facial fillers offered at Billings Clinic include BELOTERO BALANCE®, Restylane, Juvederm XC, Radiesse, and Sculptra and Fat Transfer.
Juvéderm® is a dermal filler (created by Allergan, the producers of Botox®) that contains hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally derived component of the ground substance which serves as a matrix to nourish surrounding collagen. This filler is injected to smooth away lines along the sides of the nose (nasolabial folds), mouth (marionette and vertical lip lines), and smooth the tissue of the oral commissures as well as the cheek region. Injections are recommended every 9-12 months to maintain results.
Voluma XC® is a recent addition to the filler market by a company named Allergan Alloderm. This filler, similar to Juvederm®, is composed of hyaluronic acid, but is further cross-linked allowing it to provide considerable volume to the cheeks. Currently Voluma XC® is only approved for use in the malar region of the face. Results can be sustained for approximately two years.
Restylane®and Restylane Silk®
Restylane® and Restylane Silk® are injectable gels also created from hyaluronic acid. The way the hyaluronic acid molecules are strung together in these products makes them suitable for both deeper lines and furrows, as well as finer lines on the face including the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, the jowls, and the orbital rim. Results can last six months to one year.
Radiesse® is a cosmetic filler developed by Merz Aesthetics and is formulated from calcium-based microspheres and gel to help provide the lift needed to diminish signs of aging, such as wrinkles, skin laxity, or loss of volume. Radiesse® targets smile lines, corners of the mouth, the chin, marionette lines, and the pre-jowl area. Radiesse® is recommended every 9-12 months, however in some patients due to autologous collagen production, results can last for more than one year.
Sculptra Aesthetic contains poly-L-lactic acid, a synthetic material comparable to what is used in dissolvable sutures and medical implants and is used to stimulate natural collagen production. This product is commonly injected to several areas of the face to create balance and symmetry.
Sculptra® progressively replaces lost collagen to provide natural looking results that can last an average of two or more years. For maximum results, a series of three injections, using one to two vials of Scultpra®, are injected three to four weeks apart.

30 minutes prior to injection, our nurses will apply a facial numbing cream. After injection, Dr. Wolpoe will provide you with an ice pack to numb the injection site and reduce residual swelling. Facial fillers may cause swelling, redness, pain, bruising, tenderness, itching, or light bleeding for up to 7-14 days at the site of injection.
Kybella® is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells under the chin to improve your profile.
Kybella may be right for you if:
- You’re bothered by the appearance of your double chin
- You feel the condition makes you look older or heavier than you actually are
- You don’t want to have surgery
- You eat well and exercise, but submental fullness does not go away
The active ingredient in Kybella is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, Kybella destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL/photofacial) Laser
Our Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) hand piece offers the latest technology for targeting a variety of skin conditions, including some vascular lesions. The IPL Laser uses bi-polar radio frequency and short light wavelengths to safely target and fade the appearance of skin imperfections such as:
- Brown spots
- Uneven Tones (rosacea, spider veins, age spots)
IPL treatments are performed by our highly trained, registered nurses to give you the best possible results. We recommend a package of three treatments performed every three to four weeks. There is no post-procedure downtime.
The Syneron/Candela Sublative Laser is a non-ablative, fractionated bi-polar radio frequency (RF) laser which targets the underlying dermis while leaving overlying skin intact. This laser incites new collagen production and promotes the growth of healthy skin cells.
The Sublative Laser works to:
- Diminish acne scarring
- Reduce mild to moderate wrinkles
- Reduce skin discoloration
- Smooth the skin’s tone and texture
Depending upon the skin's condition, treatment protocol is a package of three treatments scheduled four to six weeks apart. Downtime is minimal and may range from one to three days depending on the depth of treatment.
CO2RE Fractional CO2 Resurfacing System (Ablative)
The Syneron/Candela Co2re Laser is a multipurpose fractional ablative CO2 system that enables Dr. Wolpoe to accurately target and effectively treat the skin’s surface, middle, and deep dermal levels resulting in significant wrinkle reduction and skin tightening. The laser can also be used to treat scars and remove lesions.
This laser treats the superficial and deep skin layers to improve:
- Skin tone and texture
- Fine to deep lines
- Sun-damaged skin
- Age spots
This treatment is performed in a single session and the downtime includes post-procedure skin exfoliation, which is a process that may last 5-10 days depending on the areas treated and the settings used on the laser. Vein redness may last a few weeks for most treatments, but can last up to several months when using higher settings for more advanced facial aging.

Lash extensions can be worn for many years without having to re-apply a full set. When lash fills are applied within 2-3 weeks, it will appear as though you've received a new set.
Clients return every 2-3 weeks for fills as the natural growth cycle for lashes is 60-90 days. Lash extensions are applied at the base of your lash and will grow away from your eyelid together with your natural lash. Due to this, your set will not look the same after 2-3 weeks. Depending on your lashes and the stage they're at in the growth cycle extensions will shed naturally along with your lash.
Silk extensions are used within our office. Silk is a synthetic fiber that's extremely lightweight and dark in appearance creating a natural feel and beautiful look.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP is a highly sought-after non-surgical procedure for facial and skin rejuvenation. PRP therapy uses your own blood platelets to stimulate new cell growth, helping to improve skin’s complexion, texture and restore lost facial volume.
How PRP is Made
Blood is mainly liquid, called plasma, but it also contains small solid components such as red cells, white cells and platelets. Platelets are most commonly known for their importance in clotting blood, but they also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors. These growth factors play an essential role in the process of healing.
PRP is plasma with a much higher concentration of platelets than what’s typically found in blood. Normal blood contains about 6% platelets and at least 7 growth factors, whereas PRP contains a concentration of 94% platelets. When compared to normal blood, the increased concentration of platelets increases the number of growth factors and cytokines by 5 to 10 times. PRP is thus said to stimulate cellular proliferation and tissue regeneration to dramatically accelerate healing.
To develop PRP, blood is first drawn from a patient’s arm and put into a specially developed, FDA Approved, device and placed into a centrifuge and spun at a certain RPM. This process is called centrifugation and in doing so the platelets are separated from other blood cells and their concentration is increased. The resulting blood has distinct components of Red Blood Cells (RBC), Normal Plasma (PPP) and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).
The PRP portion of the blood is then separated and can be used in a variety of ways, such as injections or topical application. The use of PRP increases the amount of soft tissue generation, such as collagen.
Benefits of PRP
A benefit of PRP is that it’s naturally sourced from the patient’s own body and therefore there is no risk of allergic reaction, rejection or infection. Instead, the body is enabled to heal itself naturally.
The application of these nutrient-rich cells accelerates the normal healing process and aids in the production of new collagen. This helps restore and enhance skin regions that require volume, and improves its texture and tone considerably. The treatment will leave the patient looking more youthful and rejuvenated.
PRP is a 100% safe and natural way to dramatically decrease downtime after cosmetic procedures and at the same time optimize results.
When PRP is Used
PRP is used in conjunction with procedures for:
- Wrinkle improvement - Fine wrinkles, eye wrinkles, wrinkles around mouth, forehead wrinkles, wrinkles around ears.
- Skin pores and elasticity - reduction of skin pore size, improvement in skin elasticity and skin toning and tightening.
- Skin pigmentation disorders - hyper-pigmentation, freckles and skin blemishes, rosacea
- Mild collagen and volume loss
- Crow’s feet, under eye puffiness and dark under-eye circles
- Scarring - facial scars, acne scars, cesarean scars, stretch marks
- Chest and décolleté
Other applications include improvement in hair loss, chapped skin, burn wound, dark circle, etc.
Microblading is a semi-permanent way to fill, reshape, and define brows. This specialty technique mimics the look of individual hairs creating natural results.
Within our office, a medically certified specialist performs this procedure and works with you to completely customize your look. There’s no downtime associated with microblading and results are immediate.
Generally the results are excellent. However a perfect result is not a realistic expectation. It is usual to expect a touch-up after the healing is completed. Initially the color will appear much more vibrant or darker compared to the end result. Usually within 5-7 days the color will fade 40-50%, soften and look more natural. The pigment is semi-permanent and will fade over time and will likely need to be touched up within 6-18 months. Color may fade faster on oily skin.
The Rejuvapen Automatic Therapy System uses nine precisely spaced micro-needles to create invisible micro-perforations in the skin and the top layer of the dermis. As a result, the skin utilizes its natural repair mechanism to begin producing collagen and elastin to repair these micro-perforations.
The self-repairing property of the skin is an all-natural form of skin renewal. Treated skin will become firmer and regain elasticity and fine lines and wrinkles will be visibly reduced. Microneedling also helps to shrink pore size, stimulate circulation and improve the overall condition of the skin.
Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure proven to lift skin on the neck, under the chin, and on the eyebrow. It has also been cleared by the FDA to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the décolletage (upper torso or neckline).
Ultherapy uses safe, time-tested ultrasound energy to lift, revitalize, and tighten the skin naturally, without surgery or post-procedure downtime.
Ultrasound therapy is utilized to effectively deliver Ultherapy’s collagen-boosting treatment. It also incorporates traditional ultrasound imaging, which allows Dr. Wolpoe to see the layers of tissue he is treating, ensuring the machine’s energy is distributed to where it will be most beneficial for you.
A benefit in our office is that we provide multiple options for head and neck rejuvenation performed by a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Dr. Wolpoe provides a thorough new patient evaluation to determine if Ultherapy or one of our other options is best suited to meet your needs.
Our expert facial waxing service allows you to reveal your beautiful, natural skin with confidence. Our dual licensed cosmetologist and medical assistant, with over 11 years of experience, performs all waxing services. Facial waxing is an excellent, inexpensive option for men and women who are not a candidate for laser hair removal. Results are longer lasting and require less maintenance than traditional tweezing.
All facial waxing procedures begin by preparing the area with a pre-wax cleanser formulated to remove makeup, oil and other residues while simultaneously soothing the skin to ease the effects of hair removal and provide a more gentile service. Next, specially formulated and dermatologically tested hard wax is applied to the desired area of treatment and removed to reveal gorgeous skin.
