Private Birth Suites
A private birth suite gives you privacy as you labor, give birth, and care for your newborn baby. Each suite has a private bathroom with a full Jacuzzi bath tub. There are also in-room sleeping accommodations for daytime or overnight stays for your birth partner.
The Billings Clinic birth suites feature soft colors, soothing fabrics, spacious storage areas, a television and stereo, coordinated furniture, and artwork. Our state-of-the-art medical support equipment is tucked away behind beautiful oak cabinetry.
When baby arrives, you will have a fully furnished bassinet and a sink for bathing.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Billings Clinic offers a state-of-the-art Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for babies requiring comprehensive care, monitoring, and intensive medical attention. Three board-certified neonatologists and pediatricians supported by a highly qualified staff care for these tiny newborns around-the-clock.
Additionally, emergency transport flights for pregnant women or newborns are available on MedFlight's fixed-wing air ambulance.

Cesarean Birth Suites and Nursery
Mothers who require Cesarean sections or other birth-related surgery have fully-equipped surgical suites within the Family Birth Center facility.
A Mother’s Place, the lactation center at Billings Clinic, has two onsite board-certified lactation consultants visit all breastfeeding moms staying in the Family Birth Center to assist with breastfeeding and other lactation concerns.
This free service extends to the outpatient setting where new moms can seek guidance after their hospital stay is complete. Located on the first floor next to the Pediatric Center, A Mother's Place includes two comfortable private nursing rooms and lactation offices.

First-time mothers and even experienced moms often find that caring for a newborn is challenging and intensive. Support nurses are available 24 hours a day to offer mothers advice, support, and education.

Registered nurses are available for questions about your infant's medical symptoms, daily care or feeding needs, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
