Heart Care
At the John R. Burg MD Cardiac Center, your cardiac care is in good hands. You can trust in our comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation care, working alongside board-certified cardiologists, surgeons technologists and more. We serve patients from across Montana and Wyoming.
Your heart health matters. With preventive care, you can enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle with your friends and family, while our treatment and rehabilitation will help you get back on your feet.
Our Cardiac Center, located at Billings Clinic Downtown, 801 N. 29th St., provides outpatient cardiology and diagnostic services. The Heart Failure Clinic is also located in the Cardiac Center.
Heart Specialists - our cardiologists, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons are dedicated to your care
The Cardiac Center Care Team, led by your primary cardiologist, relies on each team members’ unique expertise to address your specific care needs. Our cardiovascular surgeons provide full cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services, including beating heart and minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
Regardless if our patients are being treated for conditions of the heart, arteries, veins or valves, or with cardiac surgery, we strive to provide clear communication, caring relationships, and education that enable patients to reach their highest level of wellness.
Innovative technology
In the hospital, our physicians perform cardiovascular interventions and electrophysiology procedures in our comprehensive Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
The Cardiac Center offers patients convenience, easy access and coordination of care with referring physicians. In addition to services in Billings, we also provide services to rural communities in Montana and Wyoming through our outreach clinics.
Heart and Vascular Program at Community Medical Center in Missoula
Billings Clinic has partnered with Community Medical Center to provide full-time interventional and clinical cardiology services, including a catheterization lab with 24/7 coverage for STEMIs (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarctions, or heart attacks that occur as a result of a complete blockage), a cardiology outpatient rehabilitation unit and cardiac ultrasound services. Patients will have the opportunity to receive interventional therapies using only radial artery access (through the wrist), for both heart and vascular disease. Additionally, the program will provide outreach services in Ronan and rural communities throughout Western Montana.
Care at Billings Clinic Heart and Vascular at CMC is led by Dr. Robert Minor and Dr. Douglas Waldo, two skilled and experienced interventional cardiologists, working alongside CMC’s professional team of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, technicians, therapists and support staff. Both Billings Clinic and CMC anticipate ongoing expansion within this program to meet the growing needs of the region it serves.
