Billings Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine’s sports specific training program - SST and Granite Health + Fitness' Elite Sports Performance are partnering.
Billings Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine’s sports specific training program - SST, and Granite Health + Fitness’ Elite Sports Performance have been providing quality athletic and sports performance training to local and area athletes. Both partners share the common goal of providing the very best training, from youth to collegiate athletes.
Elite Sports Performance and Billings Clinic’s Sports Specific Training are now working together under the new name of Elite SST. This partnership creates the most comprehensive athletic and sports performance training in the region.
Our staff consists of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists, Physical Therapists, PhD and Master’s educated staff, Certified Strength Coaches, and Athletic Trainers.
Does this mean Granite Health + Fitness and Billings Clinic are merging?
No. This new relationship means that we have two programs that are now working together. The collaboration of Sports Specific Training and Elite Sports Performance is meant to enhance the offerings of these community focused programs.
What is Elite SST?
Elite SST provides progressive training tailored to each athlete’s needs. Our mission is to create faster, more agile, more explosive athletes through teaching proper movement patterns for running, changing direction, and jumping.
There are certain attributes that every athlete in every sport needs: lower body explosiveness, first step quickness, agile footwork, speed endurance, strength and balance, flexibility through a full range of motion, a powerful core, and rapid reactions for changing directions. We train to maximize all of these strengths and capabilities in every athlete.
Using evidence-based training methods to provide maximal results to participants, we make sure every athlete enhances movements performed most in their respective sports. Our collective goal is to train athletes to become powerful, efficient, and injury resistant.
How will this partnership benefit our clients?
Elite Sports Performance and SST share the same goal: to provide the highest quality of sports performance and injury prevention education to local and area athletes. By working together, Elite SST offers expanded opportunities to improve individual performance and overall team training.
Will athletes still have access to the same athletic enhancement specialists?
The relationships we’ve developed with our clients preceding this partnership will remain fully intact. In fact, by joining together, we will be able to reach more athletes to provide our expertise in strength and conditioning and injury prevention as a result of the partnership. Whether you have trained with the SST team or the Elite team, we will still be the same set of friendly faces and you will have access to your current athletic trainers.
Will all of the camps I experienced through both organizations stay the same?
Elite SST will continue to provide ongoing sports performance camps throughout the year and will continue ongoing work with sport specific and team training sessions.
Will camp pricing and/or individualized performance enhancement pricing be altered?
Pricing for camps and sessions will be very similar to what clients have experienced prior to this partnership. Clients may notice new pricing options as Elite SST will now offer additional services for individuals and to teams. Specific prices for camps and training sessions are listed on the website.
